THE BANG-BANG

"BROTHERS OF THE HEAD" (Los Angeles, CA) Seventies British punk rock phenomenon The Bang-Bang's previously unreleased album, "Brothers of the Head," featuring conjoined twins Tom and Barry Howe, will be available for the first time on CD from Milan Records. The remastered version includes both live and studio recordings of their first single "Two Way Romeo" as well as the controversial hit "My Friend You Cunt." Milan Records will release the highly anticipated album on July 25, just days before the fictionalized documentary about the remarkable duo is released in theaters. Also entitled "Brothers of the Head," the film is already on the summer must-see list in several publications including Newsweek. IFC Films and fuse will co-release it July 28. The film screens Wednesday, July 12 in both Los Angeles and New York: Los Angeles: July 12, 7:30 p.m. Lions Gate Screening Room 2700, Colorado, Santa Monica. New York: July 12, 4 p.m. Magno Review 1, 729 Seventh Ave, New York

It follows Tom and Barry Howe, the conjoined twins who formed The Bang Bang, on an unsettling journey as they struggle to embrace their freakishness while establishing their place in the world of underground rock. The intimate video footage and interviews collected by notable directors Keith Fulton and Louis Pepe ("Lost in La Mancha") and writer Tony Grisoni ("Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas") give a fresh glimpse into their unique and ultimately tragic relationship.

The film screens Monday, July 24 in New York: 6 p.m. Magno Review 1, 729 Seventh Ave, New York
Tuesday, July 25 in Los Angeles: 7:30 p.m. Interactive Screening Room, 8800 Sunset Blvd., West Hollywood.
