Las Vegas Singer Gearing
Up For Late Spring Release Of Anticipated Debut Recording This Time Around,
Which Pays Homage To The Legends That Made Her Hometown Famous -
Frank Sinatra, Bobby Darin, Celine Dion, Wayne Newton And Peggy Lee
Silk & Satin Records recording artist, Sandy Kastel, will be sponsoring drag
race car driver David Rampy for his upcoming events around the country this
year. Rampy is a three time NHRA World Champion, five time NHRA Division
Champion and two time NHRA Division 2 Driver Of The Year. Kastel's image,
logo and website address (www.SandyKastel.com) will be displayed on Rampy's
car, uniforms, and trailer throughout the year as he travels the NHRA
circuit.

Sandy also features the Children's Miracle Network (www.childrensmiraclenetwork.org)
logo on rampy's car, uniform, and trailer in order to draw attention to a
great cause. David Rampy returns to action in Comp Eliminator with his '32
Bantam A/EA, while he will compete in Stock with a newly acquired F/SA '69
Camaro.
Las
Vegas-based singer/songwriter/performer Kastel, pays homage to Frank
Sinatra, Bobby Darin, Wayne Newton, Peggy Lee, Johnny Mathis, Dinah
Washington/Celine Dion and Judy Garland on This Time Around. Her first
single "Beyond The Sea" recently went to AC radio and is already # 2 Most
Added on the chart. The former Miss Nevada and talent award winner of the
world famous Miss America Pageant whose father, Dick Kastel has worked with
everyone from Henry Mancini and Michel Legrand to Sinatra, Liza Minelli,
Steve Lawrence & Eydie Gorme, Shirley MacLaine, Juliet Prowse and Ann
Margret, has been part of the Vegas entertainment scene since her earliest
high school days, when she performed in shows like "Sweet Charity" and
"Funny Girl." Over the years, she has performed at many of the major hotels
(Caesars, Luxor, Sahara, Hilton, MGM Grand) and was part of a popular spoof
of musicals of the 30's called "Pinups At The Movies" that was the longest
running show of its time. Several years ago, she created and performed her
own production show at the Blue Note, which is now the Planet Hollywood
Aladdin; she penned its theme song, calling it—what else?—"Only In Las
Vegas."
